Someone is there, especially at night
Residential security for a luxury villa comes down to one thing: a person on site. An alarm signals, a camera records, a night guard goes to look, closes what needs closing and calls you only if the situation warrants it. We place an officer holding the CNAPS professional licence on your property, on night shifts or in continuous presence, depending on whether the house is occupied, let or closed for the season.
Villa security is for owners who are away, for families in residence who want to sleep soundly, and for concierge companies and estate agencies looking after a house on a client's behalf. In every case the arrangement is written with you and shaped to the property, its rhythm, its staff, its guests and its deliveries.
The officer does not replace your technical systems. The officer gives them meaning: reading the images, interpreting each trigger, telling the wind from an intrusion, and reporting every morning.
What is included
Night shifts or 24-hour presence
The reference night shift runs from 21:00 to 07:00. Continuous presence, with officers working in relay, covers occupied houses and sensitive periods.
Random patrols
Nine rounds per shift, seven of them at unpredictable times. The route takes in the outbuildings, the garage and the boundaries of the grounds.
Every opening checked
A handover round at the start and at the end of each shift: every door, window, gate and shutter is checked and recorded.
Reception of authorised guests
The officer holds the list of expected visitors and receives guests, deliveries and tradesmen according to your instructions. Nobody else comes in.
Alarm response
When an alarm triggers, the officer attends, assesses, secures and informs you. You are only woken if the situation justifies it.
Logbook and daily report
Every event is time-stamped in the logbook. The end-of-shift report reaches you, or your property manager, in the morning.
Inventory of keys and access cards
At the start of the assignment, a countersigned inventory of keys, fobs and access cards is drawn up by both parties, then repeated at every handover.

How much does villa security cost in France?
Every assignment is quoted individually. The price depends on the hours, the duration, the number of officers and the level chosen, Experienced officer or Elite tier. Night shifts between 21:00 and 06:00, Sundays, public holidays and requests at less than 48 hours' notice carry a surcharge. Quotes are sent within 24 hours.
Is a night guard enough, or do I need an officer around the clock?
For a closed house, a night shift with alarm response covers the essentials. For an occupied house with staff and deliveries, daytime presence makes sense. We advise you after the visit, without oversizing the arrangement.
Does the security officer stay inside the house?
That depends on your wishes and on the layout. A post in an outbuilding or a dedicated room is often preferable, out of sight of guests and neighbours.
What happens to information about my house and my guests?
It never leaves the assignment. Under the contract, our officers may not photograph, publish or mention the property or its occupants, during the assignment and for five years after it ends. Reports go only to you or to the person you designate.
