A gangway held
A yacht alongside is a house whose front door opens onto the busiest street in town. On the quay at Saint-Tropez, the crowd passes within a few metres of the passerelle every summer evening. Yacht security means holding that gangway, day and night, with an officer who knows the list of authorised persons and can say no without making a scene.
We work for owners, captains, management companies and brokers, in Saint-Tropez, Port-Grimaud, Sainte-Maxime, Cogolin and along the whole Var coast. An officer at the gangway, in plain clothes or crew uniform, holds the list of authorised persons, receives guests and suppliers and turns away the curious.
Watch at anchor
At anchor off Pampelonne or in the gulf, the officer keeps watch aboard or from the tender, as agreed with the captain, over the approaches and the surroundings of the boat.
Off-season guarding
Rounds of the boat alongside and of the pontoon, checks on lines, access points and alarms, an inspection after every blow, regular reports to the captain or the manager.
Coordination with crew and port
The officer knows the boat's routine, the expected deliveries and the harbour office's rules. The officer does not replace the crew but extends it when the crew goes ashore.
Watch during receptions aboard
Guest checks at the gangway, management of tenders and arrivals by sea, discreet presence on deck through the evening.
Logbook and report
Every visitor, every refusal, every incident is recorded. The captain or the owner receives a report at the end of each shift.

How much does yacht security cost in Saint-Tropez?
Every assignment is quoted individually. The price depends on the hours, the duration, the time of year and the level chosen. Night shifts between 21:00 and 06:00, Sundays, public holidays and requests at less than 48 hours' notice carry a surcharge. We reply within 24 hours, for a single evening or a whole winter.
Does the security officer come aboard?
Only with the agreement of the captain or the owner, and in the areas assigned. By default the post is at the gangway or on the quay. At anchor, presence aboard is agreed in advance.
Can you follow the boat to another port?
Along the Var coast, yes, from Toulon to Saint-Raphaël. For a more distant port of call, we look at each request individually.
What happens during a party on board?
We add one or two officers for the evening: guest checks at the gangway, management of tenders, discreet presence on deck. The crew remains in charge aboard; we work under its instructions.
